Scrapping my crap

A few years ago, my mom, my aunt, and I all spent WAY too much money on this book subscription thing called "Cropy Cats". At the time, it seemed so wonderful - a group of cards come in the mail each month with cute layouts and exact instructions on how to make them. Well... when the cards actually came in the mail, the layouts just didn't seem as cute as they did on the display wall at the Memories expo. And gathering all of the materials they called for on their instructions seemed like a little too much trouble. And... it just didn't work out. But I STILL have this thick (and expensive!) binder with all these layouts and instructions.

And all of sudden, I decided I either needed to USE IT or LOSE IT! I hated to throw the thing out - I spent so much money on it and never used it even once! So I decided to USE IT. Not for the purpose which was intended for it, but as a SKETCH BOOK. And darn it, I'm gonna use the whole thing - until my DYING DAY, I will be using CROPY CATS sketches!

So here's number one. Just picked a page from the binder at random and dug out my photos to see what would work. Here's the result! I'm really happy with it! Not only did I use my Cropy Cats book, but I also used up some of my stash and scrapped some photos I've been meaning to get to! It's a good thing.
